§ 21-18. Police power of City of Palatka.

The City of Palatka is hereby authorized, with the consent of the Board of County Commissioners of Putnam County, to extend its police powers, which shall be deemed to include its traffic and parking regulations, including the enforcement thereof and the levy of fines by the municipal court in accordance with the Palatka City Charter, for violations of its said traffic and parking regulations on said lands; the City of Palatka is hereby authorized to enter into contractual or lease agreements with Putnam County for the operation of said lands as a joint municipal and county parking facility, upon such terms and conditions as the City of Palatka and Putnam County shall determine to be just and expedient.
