§ 21-20. Street closing.

The City of Palatka is hereby authorized to close, by proper ordinance, that portion of Fifth Street within said city lying between Reid Street and Lemon Street, on condition that said street be used as a part of the joint municipal and county public parking facility as herein authorized under joint contract or lease between the City of Palatka and Putnam County; on discontinuance or termination of such contract or lease between Putnam County and the City of Palatka, for whatever reason, the Board of County Commissioners of Putnam County shall convey all rights to such abandoned street to the City of Palatka for street purposes so that said portion of such street shall once again be a public street and thoroughfare of the City of Palatka.
