§ 10-24. Regulation of obscenity subject to state law.

It is not the intent of the board of county commissioners to legislate with respect to matters of obscenity. These matters are preempted to the state and are subject to state regulation pursuant to F.S. ch. 847. Nothing in this article shall be construed to allow or permit conduct prohibited by F.S. ch. 847 and its amendments or successor statutes. Nothing in this article nor the grant of any license or permit pursuant to the provisions of this article shall be construed to mean that any operations or activities tolerated by the provisions of this article are in conformity with local community standards.
