§ 44-57. Service and billing adjustments.

  • (a)

    Only county-authorized personnel may service the system.

    (b)

    In the event that an account is more than ten days overdue in payment, the services will be shut off. Service will not be restored unless the outstanding balance plus any penalty and reconnection charges are paid in full or other arrangements are made with the director.

    (c)

    Payment plans may be arranged for users experiencing temporary economic hardship and/or unusually high billing, with no adjustments allowed. If the user fails to pay either the installment amount or the current month's billing, service will be disconnected without further notice and all sums shall become immediately due and payable.
